DISCLAIMERS
Disclaimer #1:
I in no way claim to be a scholar or an expert on the complex intricacies of life, relationships, or the human soul. Rather I believe wisdom can often be found in the most unexpected places and from the most unexpected people. Too often we default to looking to experts, scholars, best-selling authors, mentors, our pastor or priest for that perfect word of wisdom, not realizing that the words we've been searching for might just come from the lips of a coworker, a neighbor, a long-time friend, or spouse, or even the clerk at the store, or the man at the corner...if only we have ears to hear. Each of us has a voice--I believe it's a gift from God--and so every one of us has something of immeasurable value to offer to one another. This is exactly why I have extended the invitation to each one of you to join the conversation and share your unexpected epiphanies with the rest of us. And I truly hope many of you will take me up on that offer.
Disclaimer #2:
As the title says, this blog is about unexpected epiphanies, so I make no promises that I'll post something new every week, because by definition, unexpected epiphanies are just that...unexpected. They are not something you can pencil in on your calendar. That being said, hopefully starting this blog will inspire us to read more often and keep our eyes and ears open to everything around us, so that life's epiphanies won't be so few and far between.
